These little, adorable dogs are the result of breed crossings between English Bulldogs and Terriers. This resulted in much smaller, muscular mini bulldogs, with energetic character traits of the terrier. Partly due to their character, large eyes and upright bat ears, they have become very popular and in the beginning, especially in France, embraced as a favorite pet.
